HOW DO I BOOK MY DATE?
We first love to meet with all our couples to learn more about you and your wedding day. If you live out-of-town we can always arrange a video chat to talk the details with you! To book us, we do require a deposit of 25% of your package price and signed contract to book your wedding date with us. Your final payment is due one month prior to your wedding date.
DO I GET ALL MY PHOTOS?
Long story short - No. You're probably shocked but let us explain... Every photo you receive is edited; therefore, we give you the best photos taken from your day. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. We don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so we spend hours doing that on our end. Example: candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. We might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. So don’t worry, we give you the best ones and trash all the half blinks and double chin shots.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
We do not discount our packages. We believe that our level of service and photography is worth every penny that it is offered at. We do offer a wonderful military discount that adds a $100 print credit onto any wedding package.
I HAVE DOWNTIME BETWEEN EVENTS ON MY WEDDING DAY. WILL I BE CHARGED FOR THAT DOWNTIME?
For a variety of reasons, we have to charge for the time in between events. The fact is, we’re never truly resting during the day, whether we’re backing up images, setting up for the second venue, traveling to the second location, taking venue shots, or making up for lost photo time because of wedding day delays. In many cases, we use that “downtime” to take you and your significant other out for a photo session or more candid shots of your guests.
WHY ARE WE CHARGED FOR ADDITIONAL COVERAGE?
We’ve dedicated the entire day to your wedding, so we won’t be racing off to catch other plans that evening. However, we need to charge for additional coverage primarily because there are costs of having the team stay for additional hours. The shooters and lighting assistants all require additional compensation. Furthermore, the additional photos taken will need to be post produced which adds to our overall costs.
WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE TO MY DIGITAL FILES?
You have the right to reprint images whenever you want! They are your images and moments! You should do what you want with them!!!
DO YOU PROVIDE THE RAW FILES FROM MY ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS / WEDDING?
Each of our packages comes with a full resolution image download. However, we typically do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files from our shoots because we believe in delivering a finished product. In fact, we’re often shooting with the end (post-produced) product in mind.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Cash, check, bank transfer, or credit card (a processing fee will be applied for credit card transactions).
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?
All deposits are non-refundable. Because you buy time from us we set aside our time for you which limits us from taking other bookings. Plus we are doing work leading up to the wedding that requires payment to photographers and office work.
HOW LONG UNTIL I GET MY PHOTOS?
We guarantee that you will receive all your finalized images with 30 days or less! We also are known for our sneak peeks on Facebook. This allows you to see a 10-15 image preview before you even leave for your honeymoon! After your wedding our full-time editor will be hard at work editing your images. We will send you updates along the entire process so you can see more and more of your images throughout the weeks following your wedding. All images will be uploaded to your online gallery and we will mail your your USB with the images to ensure our 30 day guarantee! We even have an option for a same-day slideshow which allows you to see 50-60 images at your reception!
CAN WE DUPLICATE ALL MY FAVORITE SHOTS FROM PINTEREST?
Pinterest is a great community to find and share ideas, but those are other people’s moments and ideas. You are original and will have your own moments during your photo session/wedding day. We want you to have your own images that are filled with your authentic love & laughter!
HOW MANY HOURS TO YOU SUGGEST US TO HAVE FOR OUR WEDDING DAY?
We suggest at least 8 hours for the day in order to capture the bulk of the stuff going on! We will always do our best to capture everything but anything less than 8 hours of coverage seems to be rushed. In a perfect world we’d love to have 2 hours to spend on bridal party photos and the romantic shots (just bride & groom). If possible we ask for 2 hours but have been able to do our standard shot list within 1.5 hours. The most popular amount of time couples book with us is 10 hours. This typically allows for those great getting ready shots and party photos!
DO YOU PROVIDE VIDEOGRAPHY?
WE DO! Our cinematic packages start at $3000.00 and would love to chat with you more about our video services!
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE GO OVER THE CONTRACTED AMOUNT OF TIME?
We understand that not everything goes as planned during a wedding. We never pack up before the contracted time; and moreover we’re not leaving on the dot when the contracted time is up. Instead, we will ask you at the end of your contracted time whether or not you would like to extend. If you would like us to stay, we will charge the rates specified in your contract rounded to the closest 30-minute increment.
WHEN SHOULD WE DO OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
We encourage you to do your engagement session as soon as possible. Since we offer “Save The Dates” we would love to get started on these for you! Typically you can send out your “Save The Dates” anywhere from 1 year in advance up to 6 months prior.
HOW TO DEPOSITS WORK?
We require 25% of your package price as your deposit. All deposits go towards your final balance and can be paid in cash, check, or bank transfer.
WHEN IS MY FINAL BALANCE DUE?
Your final balance is due one month prior to your wedding date. We do accept payments throughout the entire wedding planning process and a lot of our clients love this feature. It makes it more feasible to pay little by little rather than one lump sum at the end.
IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL FEE IF WE PAY WITH CREDIT CARD?
Yes. As we are a small business we do get hit with a rather large processing fee. This is why most of our clients prefer cash, bank transfer or check!
